Counting

Last night, my friend Morgan came over with her 5-year old daughter and her 8-year old friend. While Dylan was sitting in the high chair having dinner, the girls were playing hide-and-seek with "base" being in the dining room right next to his chair. Consequently, he spent all of his dinnertime listening to them count to twenty over and over again. He's been able to count 1-2-3 for a few weeks now, but after yesterday, (with the exception of "four"), Dylan can now count to ten! The only prompt he needs is, "hey, Dylan, let's count!"

After the Rains, pt. 1 & 2

 On our daily rounds of the grounds this morning, little D rediscovered the joys of mud.  Watch as he splashes around (and listen for the audible "mud...puddle"), then see Mama and her very muddy monkey take a walk down the driveway!
